Scope of Work:
- BASE BID:

One 7.5 million gallon prestressed concrete (AWWA D110, Type III) ground storage reservoir (GSR 1) with a height to overflow of 48 feet.
-
Treated Water piping including approximately 1,350 linear feet of lined 54- and 36-inch pressure piping including cathodic protection.
-
Site concrete structures including 3 vault structures, concrete headwalls and energy dissipating structures.
-
Off-site work including cut-in and installation of 36-inch gate valve and vault, and field welding of gasketed joint lined 36-inch steel pipe west of Sioux Falls along 467th Avenue north of Highway 42.

Off-site grading work for drainage channel adjacent to and due south of the Tea site location.

ADD ALTERNATE:
-
A second 7.5 million gallon prestressed concrete (AWWA D110, Type III) ground storage reservoir (GSR 2) with a height to overflow of 48 feet.

Treated Water piping including approximately 650 linear feet of lined 54-inch pressure piping including cathodic protection.

Site concrete structures including 1 vault structure, concrete headwalls and energy dissipating structure.

WORK INCLUDED IN BASE BID AND ADD ALTERNATE:

Excavation of existing subgrade and replacement with engineered fill for the reservoir floor and foundation.

Interior overflow piping and all necessary fittings.

Site work including all excavation and finish grading for construction of the vaults, storm water detention facility, access entrances and gravel roadways, storm water piping, fences and gates, and site topsoiling, seeding and restoration.

Reservoir water tightness testing and disinfection.
-
Pipeline hydrostatic pressure testing and disinfection.

Clean up, startup services, and all other miscellaneous work required but not herein mentioned but inferred from the construction Contract Documents.
